Recently did online purchase with Sydney tools and left disappointed. My goods arrived damaged as only packed in plastic envelope. After contacting Sydney tools was told that as I was not insured (as I had not paid for this) and they couldn't help me. After pointing out to them about their in adequate packaging (not even recommended on Aust Post website) they offered to take them back and swap broken parts with post at my expense.
In conclusion, I think you should do your own research on what tools you need and how powerful they need to be for the task at hand. Don't rely on their advice as they only sell the stuff, they wouldn't use any of it. And stay away from the online store!
I had contacted them two weeks after the initial order to find out that items were on back order despite the online ordering system stating they were available ( and a invoice stating that they were dispatched). I was never told and then promised a call back which never happened.
60 years ago dad purchased the cheapest black and decker drill, every one said it was poor quality , it is now my drill and still works fine. But it gets little use.
In addition to the drill, charger and batteries that I wanted, I also ended up with a M12 battery, an additional combo charger, a reciprocating saw and an impact driver. Not bad to get all that additional stuff and pay $100 less than I expected! I know it was a Milwaukee promotion and not one by Sydney tools, but it was nice that Luke helped me to get as much stuff for free as possible.
Very attractive prices and in WA. The shop feels like ALDI and compared to Bunnings you get more or better products when comparing brands. Very nicely stacked rows and organised place, just like ALDI.
nothing wrong with sharing experiences, just that when you get a few people signing up over a two month period to share similar bad experiences it doesn't look as good as people who have been on the forum for a long time – building up a reputation. A bit like ebay...
All a bit odd when looking at power tools in Australia and particular a dust extraction for $299 with 2 motors аркада казино , and when I saw the Made in PRC on the box I ask the rep what that means.
On my first time, the sales team were busy, but still greeted me in a timely manner. I came in wanting a couple of Milwaukee products in a kit, but I was shown a range of extra tools that I would actually use and was very happy with the price of the package offered. I'm no fool, I like to shop around. When I did, they were the cheapest.
But in any kind of service, it is entirely not appropriate to refer to the customer as 'mate'. They are not your 'mate', they are your customer, you call them Sir or Madam or Mr(s) X unless otherwise directed.
But then you'll end up with too many, lol. May as well get decent ones to start with? The Stahlwille ones have a nice design and good manufacturing and aren't outrageously expensive compared to Snap-On.
My friend who is building a new home has totally fallen in love with them and is going to buy 2 and place them back to back to use as her kitchen island.
How times change, it's a shame there aren't any made in Australia anymore (you can pick up Beta 42 or 90 series that are still made in Italy and very similar in finish to how Sidchrome used to be.
Your order has been processed and is preparing for dispatch, you should expect delivery to occur next week.
